Largely unreported at the time, the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast was held at Mar-a-Lago just days before President Trump’s inauguration. A month later, this historic gathering’s prayers are already being answered.

Days before former President Donald Trump returned to the White House, Christian and Jewish leaders met together at at Mara-a-Lago, uniting together in prayer for President Trump and the nation of Israel. Many said it was history in the making.

A week before the November 2024 elections in the United States, my wife and I visited Washington, DC to walk around the White House and pray. While we were there, we commented to each other, “Wouldn’t it be great to attend the Inauguration of President Trump?” After praying, we had a confident sense that Trump would become the 47th president.

Then, on the 10th of December 2024, we received an invitation to Mara-a-Lago, President Donald Trump’s residence, from Albert Veksler, founder of the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast event. To us, this was even better than attending the inauguration!

Albert said in his invitation:

I know this sounds crazy, but we have been granted an opportunity to hold a Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast at Mar-a-Lago. This is a once in a once-in-a-lifetime historic moment. Many of you prayed for the elections in the US, and now there’s a unique opportunity to participate in the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast and the Inaugural Lunch to pray for President-Elect Donald J. Trump at Mar-a-Lago on January 14.

So, we made the decision that I would attend!

The Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast

Five days before Trump’s Inauguration, 680 leaders from around the world — both Jews and Christians — gathered for the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast at Mar-a-Lago, in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The gathering, co-chaired by former US Representative Michele Bachmann and Robert Ilatov, a member of Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, brought together policymakers, religious leaders, and business figures from around the world. The event, which champions spiritual and political support for Israel, featured passionate calls for unwavering US backing of the Jewish state…

Evangelist Anne Graham Lotz, charismatic leader Cindy Jacobs, and Rabbi Moshe Scheiner of the Palm Beach Synagogue were among the notable figures who led prayers and delivered messages of unity and resilience. Parliamentarians, ambassadors, and other dignitaries from several countries, such as Estonia, Norway, Brazil, Togo, and Rwanda, and Australian American motivational speaker Nick Vujicic also attended, underscoring the international scope of the event…

Throughout the day of prayer and seminars, many pressing international issues that the future US president will face were brought to the forefront, reflecting the complex global landscape and the challenges ahead. The Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast, founded by Albert Veksler, continues to serve as a significant platform for strengthening the Christian-Jewish alliance and advocating for American and worldwide Christian support for Israel.

Trump ‘Stopped to Listen to the Music’

Many attendees at the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast have expressed gratitude and awe at the historic nature of the event.

Elihana Elia, who was invited to sing at the breakfast, expressed:

This was a powerful time of prayer for the nations of Israel and the United States. We prayed for President Trump, asking for wisdom, discernment, and the fear of the God of Israel to guide him in serving the nation. We interceded for policies that align with godly and biblical principles and for unwavering support for Israel, the Jewish people, and all of God’s people.

Roy R. Kendall played piano from 7am to 3pm in the foyer leading into the Grand Ballroom. He explained that President Trump was unable to attend the event due to be called away — “but as he walked past the foyer, he stopped to listen to the music!”

According to missionary Todd Scoggins, “Heather and I were there to witness Anne Graham Lotz, daughter of the late great Billy Graham, praying over leaders from many nations. All came to the foot of the stage to humble themselves and to seek God’s mercy and blessing.”

Pastor Jan-Aage Torp also testified:

We had a remarkable segment at Mar-a-Lago yesterday when Knesset member Ohad Tal was speaking. He suddenly asked former US Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, to join him on the stage, and Friedman gave an incredible assessment of God’s Hand in modern history.

A ‘New Wave’ Beginning at Mar-a-Lago

It was a great honour and privilege to be present on the day, and pray for President Donald Trump, along with his new administration, the United States, Israel, and the nations of the world, including Australia.

Those from other nations, including Australia, gathered at the foot of the stage and were prayed for by Anne Graham and Cindy Jacobs. It was a powerful day of prayer with prophetic words from Cindy Jacobs, Billye Brim, Anne Graham, Michelle Bachmann and many others. Australia was represented with seven Christian leaders. Australian-American motivational speaker Nick Vujicic also spoke at the event.

Reflecting on Trump’s leadership, Michelle Bachmann told the audience, “We believe God answered” the prayers of Christian Americans regarding Trump’s election victory and his opposition to any form of a Palestinian state.

There was such a presence of the Lord at Mar-a-Lago throughout the breakfast. When Mar-a-Lago was raided by the FBI in August 2022, there is no doubt it would have had a traumatic impact on the Trump family and staff. But when the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast, with its 680 delegates and world leaders came to worship and pray, I believe the darkness was pushed out!

We have a great sense that God has appointed and anointed President Donald Trump, not only to impact America, but the whole world, including Australia.

There is a wave beginning from Mar-a-Lago with President Donald Trump and it is moving across the nations, especially capital cities, including Canberra. We, as Christian leaders and intercessors, need to carry this wave into our nation, break off deception, and allow the Spirit of Truth, Jesus, to rise up in our nation.
