Palestinian Recognition

The West is Being Played Like an Oud: Recognising a Palestinian State

2.6 MINS

First came France, leaping into the Middle East with the elegance of a ballerina in Birkenstocks, announcing it would recognise a Palestinian state without any preconditions.

A bold move, if by bold you mean catastrophically naïve.

France, whose foreign policy generally oscillates between moral grandstanding and strategic irrelevance, declared it would bestow statehood on Palestine by September – because nothing resolves a terror-fuelled conflict like European applause.

Not wanting to be left behind in the race to virtue-signal, leaders in the UK, Australia, and Canada are all now positioning themselves to be part of the 2025 conga line of capitulation.

Why solve your own domestic problems when you can weigh in on a Middle Eastern war in which your influence ranks somewhere between “mildly irritating” and “geopolitically laughable”?

UK, Canada and Australia

Next up, the UK.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer, whose Middle East policy appears to have been written on the back of a napkin during a particularly bland lunch at Davos, this week announced he would recognise Palestine in September unless Israel resolves the conflict.

It begs the question, what ever happened to Great Britain? They now seek to resolve hostage situations by issuing ultimatums… to the victims.

And today comes Canada. In a statement, Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney said his nation would recognise Palestinian statehood in September provided the Palestinian Authority reforms its electoral processes etc., etc.

All of this, of course, provides cover for our Prime Minister to inch closer and closer toward recognising Palestine.

Recognising Palestine Will Guarantee Continued Violence

It’s madness. The move to recognise Palestine only guarantees that the history of anti-semitic violence will continue.

Palestinians don’t want a two-state solution. They never have.

How many times do they have to chant “From the River to the Sea” before Western leaders understand that they want all the land from the River to the Sea?

The clue is in the chant.

Canadian PM Mark Carney says the presence of Hamas is an impediment to a two-state solution.

No kidding.

What gets missed is that Gazans voted for Hamas, an organisation that has in its charter the eradication of Israel as the reason for its existence. Their sponsor, Iran, has as it’s stated goal a Jew free world by 2040.

Palestinian Leadership Wants a One-State Solution, Period

Does it never occur to our leaders that recognising a Palestinian state will only be used by the Palestinian leadership to hasten that goal?

If they want a two-state solution it is only so that they can use the state gifted to them by naïve Western leaders as a staging post to transform two into one, minus the Jews.

Here’s another thing the useful idiots running Western countries (Trump is the notable exception) miss…

The protestors in their own countries whom they no doubt hope to appease do not want a two-state solution.

Which part of “Death, Death to the IDF” says “Live and let live”?

Which part of “Globalise the Intifada” says, “Co-exist”?

And, like I said, what parcel of land does “From the River to the Sea Palestine Will Be Free” provide for Jews?

Anthony Albanese insists that a two-state solution is one of his lifelong goals and its recognition is not a matter of if, but when.

Fool.

The eradication of Israel is the Palestinians’ lifelong goal. And – as far as they are concerned – it is not a matter of if, but when.

We in the West are being played like a Oud.

So true. However it seems to me that both the division and the unwavering blindness are spiritual.

Thanks James for slicing so finely the ‘bloc’ of wilful blindness of our various western leaders, and exposing their goat-like attitudes – plenty of public play but no wise direction in it … one of the post-modern wonders of our world.
May the living God continue to be patient with even the least of these, and continue to bring true truth to light. It’ll be dazzling when it fully arrives.

Flood your country with 3rd world 7th century barbarians & sooner rather than later you have to bend the knee; either to them as a voting bloc or because you are scared they’ll burn your cities to the ground.

You get the government you vote for.

Albo meets Wong – what could go wrong?
Sadly, Israel would be eradicated, BUT God is for them and not against them.
He will have the final victory!

Well said James! It breaks my heart to witness what Albanese and his cohorts are doing to this Nation! What legacy are we leaving our children and grandchildren? My prayer, as is the prayer of many, is that the Church will rise up to its calling for Australia, to be the Head and not the Tail, that Righteousness will arise in this land we call home, and in fact, I sense it coming as I witness a Spiritual hunger in our youth! Praise the Lord that He is the God of this “Great Southland of the Holy Spirit!”

Very interesting James that the West is being led by lefties, communist/ socialist politicians. Their plan is to see the destruction of the Western Judeo Christian system that has bought the blessing upon these countries, to bring in their failed ideology. Israel is viewed by these politicians as another democratic country, so it has to go. The plight of the Gazan’s, controlled by Hamas, not Palestinians, for that is another rouse to get more ignorant westerners to join the lie, is being used to pull down a the only democracy in the Middle East. What these dopes don’t realise is they will not be able to control the Islamist Jihadis. They are being played by these Islamists and the west is falling for it, hook, line and sinker.
