I landed in Australia on June 25 for a revival tour and was supposed to go home in July. I have since extended my trip several times because of what I am seeing break out here in this Great Southland of the Holy Spirit.

After studying revival history for over 25 years and even doing a PhD in it, I am recognising the beginnings of a great move of the Holy Spirit in Australia.

We have also shifted our School of Revival (9 months of Consecration) and 40-day fast to focus our prayers to come alongside, partner, and midwife this great nation into their God given destiny for such a time as this.

God is Resurrecting Forgotten Promises

Earlier this year, Claire Alexander-Johnston, a student in my School of Revival and a spiritual daughter, was prompted by the Holy Spirit to invite me to come over to Australia. I said yes before we really had any ministry opportunities set up.

After I said yes, God began to open door after door of hungry hearts longing for a fresh touch of God.

We started our revival tour in the easternmost gate of the nation in Byron Bay, because we believe that the glory of God will flow from the east gate, as it says in Ezekiel 43:1-5.

My first ministry engagement in this nation was at Claire’s encounter night, June 28, 2025. In the context of worship, I led people in an encounter through Ezekiel 47.

During this ministry time, God resurrected a promise and prophetic word of one of the founding members of the church. Then, when she went home to look in her journal to find out when this was released, she realised it was exactly 40 years to the exact date: June 28, 1985! God had resurrected His promise to her on the exact same day, 40 years later!

Revival Tour

When we went to Rockhampton, we saw God crash in with His kabod heavy, weighty presence. In the leader’s meeting alone, people began to weep under the mighty hand of God.

Then the Return conference in Melbourne was marked by people freely kneeling at the altar in response to a call to martyrdom. There was also a sense that we’ve already crossed over, and that God is raising up new leaders for the new era.

During our time in Sydney at our encounter night, the Spirit moved powerfully. The next thing we knew, we were surrounding the pastor and raising his arms like Aaron and Hur held up Moses’ hands while Joshua was in battle in Exodus 17:11-13. A commissioning took place.

Then in Smithton, Tasmania, God broke out in a powerful way with a prophetic song released to “raise up the Joshuas here in Australia”, followed by a lion’s roar to seal the conference. You can see pictures and a more detailed report of the first phase of our ministry tour here.

God is Raising Up a Joshua Generation

There is about to be a paradigm shift. A new wine skin upon us. The new era has already begun. The Moses generation was a blessing to get us to where we are today, but God is raising up a new generation, led by a different type of leader, a Joshua generation for this new era. He is leading us where we have never gone before, and the only way to get there is to follow the leading of His Spirit (see Joshua 3:3-4).

There is a call from heaven ringing out. Just like the call Joshua gave to the Israelites right before he was to lead them out of 40 years in the desert into the Promised Land. In preparation to step into their long-awaited inheritance, Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you” (Joshua 3:4).

There was a shift taking place from relying on the miraculous provision of heaven, to crossing over, taking ground for the kingdom, and possessing the land. Consecration was the preparation needed for them to step into their Promised Land.

Australia’s Kairos Moment is Upon Us

There is a “tomorrow” coming for Australia. God is raising up a Joshua generation to lead His people from 40 years in the desert into a new era of Promised Land living. We must make ourselves ready by setting ourselves apart to burn for Jesus and walk in holiness to be able to steward all that God is inviting us into.

This revival fire that has begun here will only increase and continue to spread across this Great Southland of the Holy Spirit and far beyond. NOW is Australia’s kairos moment. There is a window of opportunity open today. Ready or not, here He comes.

Born for Such a Time as This
