God’s Sons and Daughters Carry His Authority: Day 13
Intention
To see the manifestation of the mature sons and daughters of God in Australia, taking up their God-given assignments in his authority.
Scripture
“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
– Romans 8:19
“‘I also am a man subject to authority, having soldiers subject to me. And I say to one, ‘Go’, and he goes; and to another, ‘Come’, and he comes; and to my slave, ‘Do this’, and he does it.’
“When Jesus heard him, he marvelled and said to those who followed him… ‘I tell you truly, I have not found so much faith as this with anyone, even in Israel.’”
– Matthew 8:9–10
Reflection
God’s foremost answer to the fallen state of the world is he sent his Son. In conjunction with this, Romans 8:19 records that the manifestation of the mature sons of God is an answer to the fallen state of this world.
The reason for Jesus’ success in ministry was that he lived as a Son under his Father’s authority. He didn’t speak or act without hearing from the Father (John 5:19–20; 12:49–50). As a result, when he did speak, he did so with his Father’s authority, and the world around him shifted.
God is calling us to be his mature sons and daughters who carry his authority and step into our divinely-given assignments. He is regrouping his troops.
The Lord gave me this word of admonishment for the Body of Christ several years ago: “There’s a call across the nation for my righteous ones to hear: Get ready for the battle, for my time to come is near. Step in line and mark in time, take up my sword and shield, and you’ll enforce the victory. Just let my Spirit wield the sword.”
We must never forget Zechariah 4:6 which says, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.”
We should also carefully notice these words in Joel 2:11–12 (AMPC): “The Lord utters his voice before his army, for his host is very great, and they are strong and powerful who execute God’s word. Therefore, turn and keep on coming to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning, until every hindrance is removed and the broken fellowship is restored.”
Hearts are turning in our nation; hindrances are being removed. Even more, Father God is calling and wooing the prodigals and the orphans back as sons and daughters. Malachi 4:5–6 prophesised that Elijah will “return the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to the fathers.” The Lord is calling out to his missing sons and daughters to be found.
When we operate in the spirit and power of Elijah (Luke 1:17), these prodigals will come home to their spiritual families and be led and nurtured by spiritual fathers and mothers. As Isaiah 60:4 (AMPC) reveals, “Your sons shall come from afar and your daughters shall be carried and nursed in your arms.”

Prayer
Heavenly Father,
We pray for the manifestation of the mature sons and daughters of God in Australia. Thank you that you are regrouping your troops and bringing us into alignment for your purposes in this hour. We pray that, by your Spirit, we come into alignment with our God-given assignments and exercise the authority you give us like never before.
We declare that your army who executes your word is great and powerful, and we thank you that you continue to watch over your word to bring it to pass.
Thank you that you are restoring your family and issuing the call over all your missing children, that they come into sonship. Your sons and daughters are coming from afar and running into the safety of your arms. We pray that they will all turn to you with their whole heart and that every hindrance is removed and broken fellowship is restored.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
