How Passionate is Your Cry? 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting for the Unborn

12 January 2026

2.4 MINS

We have a continuous cry to heaven for humanity – Father, have mercy and forgive them.

Abortion is the greatest tragedy of all time, with an estimated 90,000+ lives ended in Australia every year!

Together, let’s start this year partnering with the Lord, seeking afresh His Mercy and Redemption in our National Call to 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting for the Unborn.

May the shedding of this innocent blood be unthinkable for any generation across our land. Let human life from conception be greatly treasured and protected.

The 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting begins this Sunday, 18th January, and concludes on Saturday, 7th February 2026

… the day of the Love Adelaide Walk for Life, the first among many across the nation for 2026.

21 Days of Prayer and Fasting for the Unborn

Love Australia invites you to join in our 9th National Call to Prayer and Fasting.

We recognise the mostly hidden and rarely spoken about worldwide tragedy of abortion, and all the destruction surrounding the annihilation of our future generations, and bring it before Our Father in prayer.

The 2026 theme is Mercy and Redemption. Those of us who know the Lord also know that only the Lord will be the One to turn back this atrocity. Yet He is looking for agreement in prayer from us to do the seemingly impossible!

“Great and vast is His dominion. He will bring immeasurable peace and prosperity.

He will rule on David’s throne and over David’s kingdom to establish and uphold it by promoting justice and righteousness from this time forward and forevermore.

The marvellous passion that the Lord Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, has for His people will ensure that it is finished!” ~ Isaiah 9:7 (TPT)

You are being invited to express your deep, passionate love for God over the 21 Days from January 18th to February 7th 2026. He hears and answers prayers, so when we commit to prayer and praise (with fasting), God always listens and bends down to hear our every cry.

“I am passionately in love with God because He listens to me.
He hears my prayers and answers them.
As long as I live I’ll keep praying to Him,
for He stoops down to listen to my heart’s cry.”
~ Psalm 116:1-2 (TPT)

This scripture highlights God’s intimate attention to the individual’s voice and heartfelt pleas, emphasising that He is always near and responsive. We are given the privilege to speak to Him with words and cry out for mercy and redemption for the vulnerable babies in utero who have no voice. To cry out for the women, men, and families suffering from the effects of their choices.

Together, we will ponder many aspects of our Heavenly Father’s heart towards life and pray that we become a culture that does not ‘sacrifice’ our firstborn children. Scripture states, “No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and what He requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:7-8)

Daily emails, written by dedicated leaders and pastors across the nation, will be sent to your inbox (to receive these daily emails, please email the word “Prayer” to Love Australia  info@loveaustralia.org.au. Daily emails will also be posted every day on dailydeclaration.org.au, which is currently Australia’s largest Christian news site.

PLEASE DO NOT UNSUBSCRIBE, or you won’t receive any further emails from Love Australia, as it will take you off our database – if you choose not to participate in the prayer each day, simply delete those daily emails or open them occasionally when you do have time. Every prayer is vital to this cause.

Isaiah 1:13 God hates iniquity with a festival. The church cannot advocate for the regulation of child sacrifice, abolition alone is what God desires

Pray for the innocent’s in our world every day. Not just for a specific number of days as if there is a formula.
    Pray today, tomorrow, any day.
