Anyone watching the utterly shocking videos coming out of Ceuta with hordes of Moroccan criminals and illegals pouring in should be asking really hard questions about the fate of the West. And it should remind us of how wise Trump was to take firm action on the southern border.

For those not in the know, Ceuta is a Spanish city and territory located on the northern tip of Morocco. But it is now on the brink of collapse following this mass invasion.

Ceuta: Gateway to Europe

Most of these invaders are simply using Ceuta as a stepping stone to get into continental Europe. The leaders of both countries have done all they can to ensure the death of Ceuta, Spain, Europe and the West. The radical socialist left Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sánchez has long extolled the virtues of open borders and mass migration.

Earlier this year he had offered amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegals, saying it was “an act of justice” and he insisted that it was a necessity for Spain. US Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) said this about it: “Spain’s socialist Prime Minister announced he would be giving amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. Now, his country is being invaded by hordes of military aged men from Africa. … Because that’s what happens every single time a politician offers amnesty.”

And the Moroccan king had just opened prisons allowing thousands of violent criminals to walk free. They were even bussed to the border! Over recent months Morocco sent 40,000 of its own people into Ceuta and Melilla without food or shelter. Now the invaders are breaking into homes, looting, setting fires, and causing mass mayhem.

Perhaps the worst part of this tragedy is seeing woke white European women welcoming these invaders with open arms – literally. They are hugging them and saying they are welcome. Talk about suicidal empathy! How many of these brainless idiots in coming days or weeks will simply become another rape statistic, or murder statistic? This will NOT end well, and woke brainwashed Europeans are largely to blame for it all.

So now we have countless military-aged African males pouring into this small area. There are no women and children to be found among them – only young males relishing their newfound freedoms to do what they had been doing – rape, pillage and murder. And so many of them are shouting “Allahu Akbar” as they pour in.

Islamic websites are hailing all this as a victory. They are praising Allah and urging it to continue, as the march to take over Europe gathers pace. Pictures of Sánchez close up and personal with Alex Soros, son of George Soros, should have sent alarm bells ringing. As one commentator put it: “It took 800 years for Spain to win the war against the Islamic invasion, and only one leftist government to lose it.”

It is now so bad that according to one report, “The government of Ceuta has released a video asking Spain to declare a state of emergency, deploy the army to the enclave, and fully close the borders.”

Finally, Sánchez has been forced to belatedly act: “We are mobilising all necessary resources, working with Moroccan and international authorities, and preparing the necessary measures to restore normalcy as soon as possible. I just conveyed this to President Juan Vivas Lara.”

Ceuta Illegal Immigration Concerns Growing Louder

Thankfully many concerned leaders from Spain and around the world are speaking out against this madness. For example, Santiago Abascal, leader of the conservative Vox party, called the influx of migrants an “invasion” and accused “Sánchez’s corrupt government” of “desperately calling in more hitmen to stay in power.”

He accused Sánchez of being a “traitor, a corrupt man, and an indecent person,” who must be ousted. He also said: “Every illegal must be deported. You can NOT enter Spain illegally. No matter if you’re a Buddhist from Australia or a Muslim from Yemen, you will be deported.”

Spanish commentator Javier Negre said this about Sánchez and Germany’s former leader Angela Merkel: “The scriptures will remember these two as the greatest traitors of Europe and Western civilisation.”

Bishop Athanasius Schneider had earlier put it this way: “They are not refugees, they’re invaders who want to Islamise Europe. They want to destroy Europe’s religion and culture.”

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who sadly has been rather weak on this, just came out swinging:

“The images coming from Ceuta are striking and demonstrate, once again, that uncontrolled illegal immigration poses a concrete threat to the security of Europe’s borders.

“I have spoken with Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi. Italy will not stand by and watch. We are convening the relevant bodies, and following these meetings, we are prepared to intervene with extraordinary measures to defend the borders and the safety of citizens, including the suspension of the Schengen Area with Spain.

“On illegal immigration, we will not yield an inch: defending the borders, stopping human traffickers, and ensuring effective repatriations will continue to be the line of this Government.”

Republican Political Strategist Joey Mannarino gave this explanation about her decision:

“The Meloni government in Italy is now calling for the nation of Spain to be removed from the Schengen Zone. This would mean the freedom of movement that 29 different countries enjoy with one another would NO LONGER apply to Spaniards. This would be a political earthquake but Spain has truly earned it. What a pity for the actual Spanish people who will now be excluded from this program. Pedro Sánchez will be remembered as the worst leader in Spanish history!”

Mannarino continued:

“A Moroccan just hopped the border into Ceuta with Hepatitis C… and freely admits on camera he got deported from the Netherlands so he wouldn’t have to serve a 5 year prison sentence. Spain is being invaded in broad daylight and Pedro Sánchez is treating it like a photo op.”

Dutch freedom fighter Eva Vlaardingerbroek commented on X:

“Dear Spaniards, dear Europeans, We are being invaded. We are being governed by traitors who orchestrated this. The situation is critical. We cannot despair. Channel your energy into demanding that every single person storming Ceuta be sent back. Join the Save Europe Act now.”

The Trump administration has condemned the Spanish government for bringing this about. White House principal deputy press secretary Anna Kelly said:

“President Trump has long warned Europe what would happen if they continue to implement far-left, globalist policies, including enabling mass migration. Spain and other countries who have adopted this destructive philosophy should immediately reverse course or risk their own demise.”

Brandon Gill offered this warning to Americans:

“This is the future the Democrat Party will bring to every community in America if they gain political power again. What’s happening in Spain should be a warning to every American who may have forgotten about what our borders looked like the last time Democrats were in power: All it takes is one election for your nation to become unrecognisable.”

White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller said this about the situation in Spain: “The Democrats did this to America every single day for 4 years under Biden and will do it again instantaneously, but orders of magnitude greater, if they are given any form of national power. Democrats will see your home trampled and stolen by invaders and they will rejoice.”

And Rep. Chip Roy said that the invasion of Spain is “why we need to codify Trump border security.” He wants Congress to immediately pass President Trump’s Permanent Trump Secure Border Act (H.R. 9773).

Charlie Kirk was so very right to say that “Mass migration is a weapon being used to take over the West.” And Elon Musk added, “Either we fight back or they will kill us.”

Not Learning from History

Just hours ago Simon Hankinson penned an important piece which nicely reminds us of the importance of knowing history. He wrote:

“In the year 711, armies of the Umayyad Caliphate crossed the Strait of Gibraltar and fought the ruling Visigoths. The Moors established the region of Al-Andalus on the Iberian Peninsula where they ruled for 700 years. But under a series of Christian rulers, Spain eventually drove the Caliphate out.

“The last Muslim state of Granada fell in 1492, the year Columbus set sail for America. Now the Moors are back, this time not by the sword. The EU has basically given up trying to end mass illegal migration. Instead, to share the burden of mass arrivals at the frontiers, the EU forces member states to accept a designated share of migrants per EU direction, regardless of what national voters want. In June, the European Union’s Directive on Migration and Asylum took effect.”

He continued:

“In April, the socialist government of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced a scheme to give one-year, renewable residence permits to illegal immigrants. The bar was incredibly low – applicants only had to prove they’d lived for at least five months in Spain and had no criminal records. The government claimed the program would apply to half a million people.

“When the amnesty window opened, over a million applied. Just as with illegal aliens released or paroled by President Joe Biden between 2021 and 2025, Spain has no way of checking the applicants’ criminal records back home in Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, and scores of other countries.

“Studies from Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and elsewhere have consistently shown that crime rates by men from North Africa and the Middle East in Europe are far higher than among the native-born. That risk will be borne by Spanish, and later European, people.”

He concluded:

“Africa will not soon run out of unemployed young men to send, as long as Spain and Europe keep the borders open and the welfare taps flowing. Unemployment rates among migrants in Europe are high – twice that of natives in France and Spain. But even being jobless in Europe, with free housing, education, medical care, and more, is better than staying in countries with no such social benefits. With the reckless Sánchez amnesty, Spain has incentivised unlimited mass illegal migration. Medieval Spain was conquered by the sword. Modern Spain is subjugating itself by choice.”

Forget the False Compassion

Woke wonders think letting in millions of migrants into the West with no questions asked is the ‘compassionate’ thing to do. They are mad – it is suicide. No nation can long last under those circumstances. Yes, orderly and legal immigration certainly has a place. But NOT this.

And undiscerning Christians who think we must allow for this mass migration of even illegals are off with the fairies. There is nothing virtuous or Christlike about it. Just as any morally upright father would seek to protect and defend his family against various threats, so too all morally upright leaders would seek to protect their nations from foreign invasions and from those who have sworn to destroy the West.

Let me try to make it simple to understand for these folks. If a small rural community has a nearby prison which decides to release its inmates and they flood this area, demanding to be let into the homes of its citizens, no one in their right minds would just say, ‘Sure, come on in’.

If murderers, drug traffickers, rapists, and child sex traffickers were among them, no homeowner with a conscience and a sense of duty would just welcome them in with open arms. Instead, they would do all they can to protect their family and loved ones and repel this unwelcome invasion.

Europe today seems to be almost gone. All the more reason why it was so vital to have Trump at the helm in America as he seeks to keep that great country from becoming just another failed European state.
