Jerry Lissing
Jerry is a director of the ACT Jewish Centre, Co-Chair of the National Holocaust and Education Centre Committee, and a postgraduate in Strategy and Policy (UNSW@ADFA).
He has had over 35 years of experience managing large service operations in Venue and Facility Management including The Sydney Opera House; Stadium Australia and Fairmont Resort. He has also worked with Defence, managing complex procurement programmes and Base Operations. He was also a senior business consultant with Minter Ellison Lawyers and now is a Director of the Consulting Company AgriFarmacy Pty Ltd.
Jerry has been a director of several major organisations including being a Board Member of the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Sydney Kings.
Originally a schoolteacher, Jerry has a deep interest in global affairs, and in particular the Arab-Israel conflict. This led him to undertake and complete post-graduate studies at The Australian Defence Force Academy UNSW in Global Security and Policy.
Jerry is proud of his Jewish heritage and is a staunch advocate of the continuing fight against antisemitism. He is married to Wendy and together they have five children and eight grandchildren.
