Here, I must ask this of all my readers: Who will join me in committing to pray daily for folks like Musk and Peterson and so many others who seem to be on a real spiritual journey? They really do need our prayers.

We must be careful that we do not end up being an empire builder, a kingdom builder. We must be very careful, in other words, that in our effort to serve the Lord, we do not get proud, and do not think we are going to be the next best Christian thing since the apostle Paul.

The Cross demonstrates that love can take the worst that humans have done and can do, absorbs it and defeats it. Build a counter‑cultural community in your society, where each individual is set free to fulfil their God-given purpose to be agents of re-creation to bless others.

We must seek to get the biblical balance: neither denying that God can do miracles, even today, nor insisting that we can snap our fingers and get God to show up with the fireworks, whenever we want.

When Jesus came to Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples this question: “What are the people saying about Me, the Son of Man? Who do they believe that I am?”

We can rest assured that evil rulers and bloodthirsty nations will NOT endure. They will come to their appointed end. But God and HIS kingdom will most certainly last.
