Reflecting on the Word of God, we have been given clear instructions on how to be released from generational and habitual patterns of sin, allowing God’s grace to cleanse and heal us as individuals, families and as a nation.

The last National Day of Repentance held by the Canberra Declaration on 11 December 2021 had a remarkable unity of national apostolic and prophetic leaders in introspection, searching our hearts individually and collectively as a nation.

Pastor Brian Pickering shared a powerful reflection on the plumb-line scripture for Australia in all our collective gatherings of prayer in the nation,

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways… I will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Obedience & Repentance

From the moment the Holy Spirit introduced me to this scripture, I have had a progressive revelation of the obedience required to see the expected promise of an answer to prayers, with the fruit being the healing of the land. The key is to “Turn from our wicked ways.”

God is now dealing with His church on all issues of holiness, righteousness, faith in His Word, His Name and Blood, and its finished work and obedience in the rightful awe of Him as God.

Jesus is full of Grace and Truth, and in His great mercy, He is in relentless pursuit of every soul who is willing to be led by His Spirit to turn us from all iniquitous patterns and strongholds in our lives.

God is opening our hearts to surrender to His loving correction even like an onion peel, layer upon layer. The goodness of God that is leading us to true repentance.

Prophecy

On January 2^nd, 2022, the first Sunday of the chronological year, God gave a prophetic scripture as a key for release. To recognise how important a Word is to the Lord for release, I’ve had to discern through the situation or circumstances of my life.

It was a difficult morning as we had news of my father-in-law being critically ill in the ICU. I woke early to pray for different matters. God had a Word as I enquired of Him; I discerned it was critically important for Him to release on the earth to His people.

²⁵ You are sons of the prophets,
and of the covenant which God made with our fathers,
saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed, all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’
²⁶ To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you,
in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”
~ Acts 3:25–26 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

This is an incredible promise to each of us who believe in the risen Christ, heirs of salvation.

But even more amazing is that in declaring “to you first, the promise is to all the Jewish believers who believe in the risen Christ, God will turn them from their iniquities too according to the covenant blessing to Abraham. In your seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.”

God was releasing a key of David that would shut the doors to the iniquitous patterns in bloodlines — the captivity of curses, sickness, disease, demonic oppression, rebellion, and witchcraft — through the power of the risen Christ.

Healing & Salvation

Through Jesus, all iniquitous patterns and roots shall be uprooted, and each one who believes shall receive the power of the Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead to give life to our mortal bodies. One of the seven Spirits of God is the Spirit of Power (Isaiah 11:2). The anointing power of the abiding Holy Spirit to overcome iniquity that hinders or clogs blessings.

God is releasing an anointing across the body of Christ in Australia, for all to turn from wicked ways that have held us back as individuals, families and a nation.

This Scripture reminded me of Ps Brian Pickering’s words. In this year of 2022, Isaiah 22:22 is pertinent as the key of David that opens doors that no man can shut and shuts doors that no man can open.

Also, the Keys of the Kingdom that Jesus gave His church to bind and loose are to be exercised to take ground, having put on the whole armour of God to stand against the wiles of the enemy.

Chuck Pierce, Prophet to the nations, shares the following prophecy as a confirmation in his Word released on 13th January on the Glory of Zion website. (Excerpt only)

“I have been looking for a group. I have been looking for the ones to anoint now. There is an anointing that I am bringing down from heaven so you can stand as one and break through the barrier that the enemy has erected. I am coming in now!

I am coming into your life in new ways. I am breaking that which has been around you. I am causing you to feel My presence in new ways. I am causing you to be favoured in new ways.

I am breaking through the blood barrier in your brain. You thought that knowledge could get through, but I have got to break that blood barrier where the iniquitous flow from prior generations continues to have the right to operate.

I will cause you to come alive and see what I would see. I am breaking through a blood barrier! I am breaking through a blood barrier! What has been filed and cataloged is now coming alive.

I am going to reverse some Alzheimer’s. I am going to reverse some dementia. I am changing some things. I am going to reverse stuttering. I am going to reverse dyslexia. I am breaking through the blood barrier in your brain. My presence can penetrate.

I will reveal My glory. I am coming to reveal so I can break open the seal that has closed up what you have been looking for. I am neutralising your chromosomes from iniquitous patterns. Let My glory penetrate! Let My glory penetrate!

I am breaking your insecurity barrier. I am uncovering the treasure that you have been. I am uprooting what has been buried deep and causing you to flower and blossom forth in a new way. Let Me uproot! Let Me uproot!”

Prayer:

Father, we thank You that in this season, You are releasing a fresh anointing of Your Spirit of Power for us as Your people to turn away from our wicked ways. Father, we acknowledge our weaknesses and even our lack of obedience to Your Word that always leads us to paths of righteousness. We humble ourselves and ask Your forgiveness. Fill us with Your Spirit and Fire.

Father, grant us Your gift of repentance, that we may never go back to our old ways of sin and iniquitous patterns.

Father, we repent of abortions, sexual immorality, breaking of covenants of marriage, unbelief in our own lives and families and within the church.

Father, we repent of not keeping our vows to You, even in withholding tithes and offerings, which causes a curse to come upon a nation. Father, we acknowledge You as our provider, the God who provides for us. As we give, it is given to us a good measure, pressed down, shaken and running over, shall men give unto our bosom.

We repent of the love of money which is the root of all evil. Uproot this in our lives. Father, may we be rich towards You and share with those in need, especially with those within the household of faith and those who labour among us.

We repent of unequal yokes in our lives. We renounce them and ask that we be yoked with Jesus.

We repent of all idol worship that has continued from our bloodlines and not given You the rightful place, as in the first commandment to Love You and serve You with all our hearts, all our soul and all our strength.

Father, continue to reveal to us by Your spirit any iniquity that would separate us from Your love. Open our eyes to understand the power of Jesus’ broken Body and Blood that continually cleanses us and washes us and restores us back in relationship with You. Thank You for redeeming us from every curse of sin and death and translating us into the law of life in Christ Jesus.

We the Ecclesia return to You and declare as Joshua said, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

We prophesy Australia, you are reconciled to the Father in Heaven Who is your Maker and God Who has loved you with an everlasting love, that you may serve Him and Him alone all the days of your life, so that you and your descendants may live!

Father, we thank You that when we cry out to You, You answer us. Thank You for healing our hearts and our land!
