Day 6: It is Christ Who Lives in Me
Intention
To discover the reality of Christ living in us
Scripture
“I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.”
— Galatians 2:20
Reflection
In the passage above, Paul did not say, “we live in a Christ-like way,” or even “we Glorify Christ through our behaviour.” No, He said, “Christ lives in me/us,”. This clearly shows us that Christ lives in His believers. Because He lives in us, the Christian life is not a matter of trying to behave like Christ, but of allowing Him to live in us.
According to Peter (1 Peter 2:24), Jesus personally carried the load of our sins in His own body when He died on the cross. He did this so that we could be finished with sin and live a good life from now on. His wounds have healed ours!
The verse doesn’t say you are “going to be” healed; it says that by the stripes of Jesus you “have” already been healed!
To me, the word healing is when Christ took all sickness and disease to the whipping post for us. I remember a song by Michael Jackson called “Heal the World” with these words in it:
“And the dream we were conceived in will reveal a joyful face, and the world we once believed in will shine again in Grace.”
Through that Grace there is love – the greatest love ever. That love is from Yeshua, the only One that died and was raised for us all. Next time you have Communion, remember that it is the “Holiness Meal”. The more you participate the less the enemy can enter in.
Pray these words each time you have Communion: You will see the difference within your body…
“Father, we thank You! You said that by the stripes of Yeshua we are Healed. We believe Your WORD and that it is for us right now. So now, by Your Spirit that dwells in us, we receive it into our flesh and pray that You will quicken and Heal our mortal bodies. Lord, You are The Lamb of God; You took away the sins of the world. Through the Grace of the Holy Spirit, restore our friendship with Your Father. Cleanse us from every stain of sin in the Blood You shed for us, and raise us to our new life for The Glory of Your Name.”

Prayer
Father, Your Word is alive.
We believe Your Word. You said by Yeshua’s stripes we were healed and that means we are healed. It doesn’t mean that the devil has got the news yet. So right now, we are informing the devil that all sickness, disease, suicide, all pain of torment demonic spirits influence of addictions and habits… that you have to leave right now — not tomorrow or next week or next month, but NOW, in Yeshua’s name. So, we receive this right now as the breath of life breathes within us.
And so be it, Amen.

Identificational repentance is a very powerful corporate, priestly (1 Peter 2:9) prayer weapon, in which believers stand in the gap for their family, church, city, or nation by naming the sins that have shaped a people, confessing them before God, and turning from those patterns in heartfelt humility.

Your words and your prayers are such a beautiful beginning to my day Gloria and thank you for making the time to write them. It’s true Paul does say that Jesus Christ lives in, us . He doesn’t say He lives next door or in a building which is an amazingly important distinction.
I miss seeing your face , hearing your voice and am greatly relieved that all that “ ‘practising being quiet ‘has not impaired His Spirit in you . Thank you again.
