Matthew Guy and Daniel Andrews

Victoria: Irony is Dead!

Victorian Liberal leader Matthew Guy has said that a Liberal candidate who believes abortion is wrong will be banned from sitting in the party room if elected.

Her views are “extremist”, he said.

The irony of this is that the pro-abortion movement calls themselves “pro-choice”. Apparently, there is no choice. You support abortion, without caveats, or you are persona non grata.

Own Goal

Candidate Renee Heath also believes homosexuality is a sin and that transwomen are not, in fact, women.

Many people may disagree with Heath’s views, but Heath’s views are hardly “extreme”. The three monotheistic religions — Judaism, Islam and Christianity — have believed these things for 5000 years.

But Heath’s views on sexuality are too extreme for the Victorian Libs. And here I was thinking that religious discrimination was against the law.

You’ll never see Labor even question their Muslim candidates’ views, but Liberals will throw their own under the bus to score brownie points with… Labor!

Say what you like about Daniel Andrews, he is kept in power by a woke, cowardly Liberal Party that Christians would find difficult to support.

Name-Calling

Speaking of Daniel Andrews, the Victoria Premier tweeted this over the weekend:

I want to be very clear here. Nazis, racists and bigots have no place in politics. They have no place in our parliament. And they have no place in our state.

My first instinct was to be excited when I read this. I thought it was the introduction to his resignation!

But alas, he continued:

The Liberal Party are actively supporting candidates who espouse those views. I’m not going to name them — I’m not going to give them the satisfaction of airtime. But I am going to call it out. This is what’s at stake this election.

Ohhhh, the Nazis are not the Labor Party that commissioned police to chase Jews through the streets of Melbourne for the crime of having a religious service during lockdown, no… the Nazis are in the Liberal Party!

So Dan’s going to call them out by not naming them! (Circuses everywhere are desperate to employ Dan Andrews as their clown)

But I think we all know what Dictator Dan means. If you don’t support him, you’re a Nazi.

And a racist.

And a bigot.

Dan Andrews has decided to take his re-election strategy from the US Democrats. When you’re an abject failure, just start calling everyone names.

Irony is dead.

He is such an embarrassment James. And in my life that is really saying something you can trust me on that.

    This man….
Words fail me, but my utter dismay at the Liberal coalition must be aired by stating ‘Wake up, you weak kneed people!”
FYI this is the polite version.
