Every human being for all time has the wonderful heritage of being in the Trinity’s thoughts. Our unformed substance was seen by God’s eyes, and the days appointed for us were all written in His book! Psalm 139:15-17 (AMP) says:

¹⁵ My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was being formed in secret,
and intricately and skillfully formed
(as if embroidered with many colours)
in the depths of the earth.
¹⁶ Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
the days that were appointed for me,
When as yet there was not one of them (even taking shape).
¹⁷ How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!

Nothing and no one is hidden from the Lord, and we are amazed that He treasures His beloved creation, ‘us’, so much!

Every person’s days appointed to them are written… so what happens to Heaven’s blueprint for them when they do not survive an abortion? Such blueprints are being rejected and unfulfilled as women and men buy into the ‘death culture’ of abortion. The dehumanising of unborn children, referring to them as ‘the pregnancy’ that ends, renders their lives meaningless.

Each person belongs to the Lord and each life is given as a gift from Him. We have all proceeded from God and have been sent with a purpose, a plan, a destiny in God to fulfil. Every unborn person is being lovingly watched over by the Lord. Whether a child is planned and wanted or not, every human being has tremendous immeasurable value. To be pro-life is to have the Lord’s heart for all humanity and to speak up and say without a doubt, ‘Let them Live.’

Prayer

Heavenly Father, Your word says there is ‘a time to be born and a time to die’ — this has been orchestrated by You in Heaven. We pray together with Jesus, ‘Father forgive them’ — all those who play/ed a part in aborting unborn children in Australia.

We ask for divine justice for every unfulfilled destiny stolen, and for Your divine justice upon those who are instrumental in the barbaric practice of the shedding of innocent blood. May Your Blood, Lord Jesus, from the mercy seat, speak Your mercy and forgiveness over our land.

We ask that You would give us renewed joy of being a part of Your redemption plans, as we make ourselves available and willing to rescue those who need rescuing. Lord, we ask that the blueprints written in Your books not be lost or stolen, but that many more children rise up in Your Spirit’s anointing and do greater things than we can even imagine.

Lord, send double mantles on the generations of those who have turned their hearts fully to You — that they be part of Your restoration of all things. You paid the price on the cross of Calvary, so we rejoice that our names are written in Heaven and that You have chosen us to stand for life in these days. Lord, today we call forth many to join the pro-life movement across Australia, and to be effective in the work. We magnify Your name, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Prayer Points

• Ask the Lord to show you any specific mantles or destinies that have been taken through abortions and pray His word to redeem them, to be fulfilled on the earth as it is written in Heaven.
• We pray for every state and territory of Australia to come together to stand for life! For hearts to be awakened and every Christian to rally to rescue the unborn as the church rises up to “Walk for Life Adelaide” on 11 February and “March for Life” Brisbane — 22 April, Mackay “March for the Babies” in October, and for other states to join in and hold rallies or walks in their cities.

These three current Pro-Life Issues before Parliaments:

• Pray that the Human Rights (Children Born Alive Protection) Bill 2022 be passed speedily in 2023. This Bill will protect babies who are currently, in most states of Australia, being left to die after a failed abortion. This protection for such babies is currently law in New South Wales (2019) and South Australia (2021) as amendments to the state Termination of Pregnancy Acts. This Federal Bill, if passed, will make this legislation National. Pray for protection for the three Federal Senators Alex Antic (Liberal Party), Matthew Canavan (National Party) and Ralph Babet (United Australia Party) who presented this Bill on 30 November 2022.

• On 28 September 2022, the Federal Senate referred an Inquiry into Universal Access to Reproductive Healthcare (abortion) to the Senate Standing Committee on Community Affairs. This enquiry is all about broadening abortion access and entrenching it into federal law, possibly overriding state laws. Pray that the Lord stops this from occurring.

• The passing in South Australia of the Statutes Amendment (Loss of Fetus) Amendment Bill 2022. Presented by MLC Sarah Game (One Nation). This bill would acknowledge the loss of an in-utero baby due to a criminal act, such as assault of the mother or dangerous driving — offences in their own right. This Bill is about justice and recognition of a life lost. Sadly abortion is not recognised as a criminal offence, but this bill will for the first time recognise the personhood of the unborn child.

Pray that abortion will not increase in Australia. The ACT Government has announced it will provide free abortions from 2023. There are also calls for taxpayers to fund abortions nationwide, and for nurses to be allowed to give out abortion pills.
