Reclaiming America: Highlights from President Trump’s Firey Inaugural Address

Donald Trump has cemented his 2025 inauguration by proclaiming the dawn of an American Golden Age.

Although he lacked the naive energy of 2016, the better-prepared Trump wasn’t short on optimism or criticism of his persecutors.

Trump also used his inauguration speech to remind the D.C. swamp that he had a clear mandate to clear out the maddening Marxian woke mind virus.

Flanked by Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, the Trump family, and Elon Musk, the 45th and now 47th President of the United States declared a “new era of national success.”

Acknowledging voters, President Trump tipped his hat to the 2024 election, describing it as a “great momentum” flooding the United States with fresh hope.

The citizen president then took aim at the career politicians who sullied, slandered, and sought to silence his political rerun.

“We have a government that cannot manage a simple crisis at home, who at the same time stumbles into the continuing catalogue of catastrophic events abroad.”

They “provide sanctuary”, Trump added, “for dangerous criminals” while failing to protect American citizens.

No Mincing His Words

Speaking directly to the Biden administration’s open borders policy, Trump slammed the Joebama bureaucracy for “giving unlimited funds to defend foreign borders, while refusing to defend America’s own.”

Pointing to a history of damaging Democrat deals, Trump used Article 8 of Panama’s broken Canal treaty with the United States as an example.

Damning the significant Jimmy Carter-era national security fumble as a bad deal, Trump asserted,

“We foolishly gave the Panama Canal to Panama. After investing lives, and millions of dollars, they then let China run it.”

Trump accused China of overcharging American shipping, then without saying how, said, “We’re taking it back!”

When dressing down government inefficiency, Trump said even the public health system fails in times of crisis. This is despite “more money being spent on it.”

To this effect, Trump said he was creating two new departments.

The Department of Government efficiency (DOGE), and the External Revenue Service (ERS).

“We will,” Trump promised, “restore the integrity, competency, and loyalty of America’s government.”

Near-Death Experiences

Addressing the attempts on his life, Trump testified to being tested, stating, “I’ve learned a lot along the way.

“The journey to reclaiming our Republic has not been an easy one.

“Those who wish to stop our cause tried to take my freedom, and indeed take my life.”

Crediting God for saving his life, Trump added, “I felt then, and believe even more so now, that my life was saved for a reason.

“I was saved by God to make America great again.

“This is why we will be working to meet every crisis with dignity, power, and strength.

“We will bring back hope, prosperity, safety and peace for citizens of race, religion, colour and creed.”

For Americans, Trump declared, “January 20th is Liberation Day.”

Preaching about the MAGA/MAHA unity party has rallied a shared adoration for the nation in the face of the Marxian Woke Uniparty, Trump said,

“Our country will not forget our constitution, and we will not forget our God.”

He then declared a national emergency at the border and war on “record inflation”, saying of the energy crisis, “We will drill, baby, drill, and export American energy to the world.”

A Clean Sweep

Additionally, Trump revoked Biden’s COVID vaccine and climate change mandates.

Electric vehicles, he said, will be an option, not a government-sanctioned necessity.

“In other words, you will be able to buy the car of your choice.”

He also said every military member fired for refusing the COVID-19 “vaccine” would be reinstated with back pay.

From here, Trump backed freedom of speech, ordering all government departments to end censorship and boot out Critical Race Theory.

Delivering a key election promise, Trump moved to end identity politics.

“I will end the social engineering which puts race and gender into every aspect of public and private life.”

As part of this announcement, Trump made binary gender official Government policy.

“There are only two genders, male and female.”

Overall, Trump’s 30-minute Golden Age inauguration proclamation was packed with commitments to the “restoration of America” through a “revolution of common sense.”

America, he implied, will be a meritocracy, not a Marxist, outcomes-based equity idiocracy.

“Never again will the immense power of the state be weaponised to persecute political opponents – something I know a bit about,” Trump added.

The prose was poised, and the delivery graceful.

Trump deserves every bit of credit for showing the kind of respect that his deranged detractors rarely, if ever, have shown him.

This wasn’t a president just addressing the people.

This was the persecuted addressing his persecutors.

Thanks Rod. The whole speech is well worth listening to, and common sense was one of the highlights for me.

The words of the godly encourage many, but fools are destroyed by their lack of common sense. Prov 10:21 NLT.

I want a “Golden Age” +”Make Australia Great Again “(aka “Make Albanese Go Away “!) Hooray !Victory for Comonsense . I love Trump’s quote : “Our country will not forget our Constitution, and we will not forget our God”. He’s right, without God, Australia has become dangerous, broke, etc.

Brilliant article, Rod. I couldn’t stop reading. Wonderful! Let’s pray Trump’s outlook will permeate the Western world; we all need leaders who reflect the values he espouses.
