Our Father’s Sukkot Purposes
We are in the time of the Jewish High Holy Days. Today, my focus is on Sukkot – The Feast of Tabernacles (Booths).
At the beginning of September, when we were entering the season of the High Holy Days, the Lord blessed me with two visions.

On this occasion, I feel led to share what the Holy Spirit is showing me about Sukkot.
The first vision was where I saw God’s large left hand, with His thumb in front of a yellow etrog. An etrog is a species of citrus. The Lord’s hand was upon this etrog. This indicated to me that something was about to happen at Sukkot, specifically to do with Israel.
As I asked the Lord about the High Holy Days, I felt that He said to me that it will be “a time like no other”.
The etrog is part of the celebration of Sukkot. Usually, a Jewish man will have a lulav (branches) and an etrog (fruit) and use them in his worship of the Lord at Sukkot.
I began to study the etrog and the left hand in order to gain a greater understanding of what the Holy Spirit was showing me.
In the book The Feasts of Israel, Victor Buksbazen states that the etrog is symbolic of the fruit of the Promised Land.
Another reference: etrog refers to the heart, the place of understanding and wisdom.
And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of beautiful trees…
~ Leviticus 23:40
My Complete Jewish Bible states that the right hand of God is mighty in power (page 444, footnotes).
Another comment mentions that those on the right present the case for the defence, while those who stand on the left do so for the prosecution. Yeshua went on to say in the New Testament that the sheep were sent to the right, but the goats were sent to the left.
Also, the thumb in the Bible represents power and action. It may be possible that the Lord will deal with Hamas in this season.

In the second vision, I saw a heavenly escalator with lots of small steps. I could see these steps coming forward to me/us here on earth. These steps were descending from heaven downwards. At the bottom of the steps, I saw a lump of something. It was brown in colour and like an uneven semi-circle, a lump. It was like someone was carrying a bundle to deliver. This item was being delivered.
From the way the Holy Spirit speaks to me, I understand brown to represent prayer. For example, the monks, men of prayer, wear brown habits. It is possible that this picture of the escalator coming with a bundle could mean answered prayer.
Many prayers are being answered in this season. A while ago, the Lord showed me that the Bowls in Heaven had begun to be tipped out. Now, under the weight of His glory, profound changes will take place in individuals, groups, and nations.
High Holy Days Summary
The Feast of Trumpets/Yom Teruah/Rosh Ha Shanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot are not just historical observances but divine appointments – Moedim – where He works in significant ways regarding His eternal purposes.
Rosh Ha Shanah (Jewish civic new year), Rabbinical in origin, Hebrew year 5786
Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets) Biblical Feast
22nd – 24th September 2025
It was noteworthy that at the United Nations General Assembly, the nations voted for the Two-State Solution.
Rosh Ha Shanah is of Rabbinical origin and is a secular celebration – the civic new year for Judaism 5786.
Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement
1st – 2nd October 2025
A day of fasting and repentance with the hope that one’s name will be written in the Book of Life.
It is the most solemn day on the Hebrew calendar – a time of cessation of all work, fasting, denying comforts, and confession/repentance from sins.
Sukkot/Feast of Tabernacles (Booths)
6th – 13th October 2025
Sukkot comes after Yom Kippur and celebrates the gathering of the harvest and commemorates the miraculous protection G‑d provided for the children of Israel when they left Egypt. It is a time to dwell or eat in a foliage-covered booth.
When Yeshua dwells with us here on earth, it will be the true fulfilment of Sukkot. (Revelation 21:1-3)
The Torah refers to Sukkot by Chag HaAsif (“Harvest Festival”) and Chag HaSukkot (“Festival of Booths”). Evangelism/harvest seems to be a theme that comes out of Sukkot.
We are seeing this right now as God is moving amongst us. There will also be the future fullness of the Lord dwelling on His throne in Jerusalem.
Shemini Atzeret / Simchat Torah
13-15 October 2025
This celebration comes after Sukkot. The first day, known as Shemini Atzeret (eighth day), is reserved for the joy of the festival and for the prayers for rain. It was the time of the water libation ceremony and the prayer for rain in the coming season.
Simchat Torah is the Jewish festival that follows and marks the renewal of the cycle of Torah readings.
Reflections
The Gaza war has been raging for about two years now, and there have been many attempts to free the hostages and end the war.
2 Kings 6 tells us of where the enemy was blinded. It was a supernatural intervention by the Lord. The enemy was humbled, and consequently, there were no more raiding parties. It was God’s supernatural intervention that changed things, not just military might. And so, it will be in this season, I believe. We have only just begun to see His supernatural power at work, shifting things to bring us into divine alignment.
We are in a time of Kingdom advancement for us as a people of God and for Israel going forward as a nation. Israel is now taking sovereign control of what is already legally theirs through annexation.
The unfulfilled feasts have always been a foreshadowing, but now they are an unfolding. Father’s purposes are beginning to unfold.
When the October 7th massacre happened, I believe it brought Israel to the forefront. We have been seeing daily news about Israel on our screens for about two years now.
When I viewed the opening of the new pilgrimage road in Jerusalem, it was as if another part of the way was being opened for the re-establishment of a third Temple. The Lord is restoring Jerusalem. Even though we may not necessarily agree that the third Temple is necessary because of Yeshua’s sacrifice, there is a purpose in it.
Charlie Kirk’s death. Now is the time for the church to come alive and spread the message of Yeshua. Charles means free man, and Kirk means church. May we freely share the Gospel in this day before the days of greater darkness come upon us.
I read one article where a Jewish writer was calling Charlie Kirk an Abraham, but I am calling him a John the Baptist, preparing the way for the Lord.
Poured Out
Victor Buksbazen’s book The Feasts of Israel mentions the Wells of Salvation.
There were two features at the Temple service to do with the Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot – the priest would take water from the Pool of Siloam, gather it into a golden pitcher, and then pour it into a basin at the foot of the altar. Then another pitcher poured wine into the same basin. These mingled together.
The pouring of the water was to do with the prayer for an abundance of rain. Secondly, it was a prophetic sign to do with the Messiah, symbolising the outpouring of the Holy Spirit not only on Israel but upon all the nations.
We are in a time of outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the nations of the world, and there is more to come for Israel. I am sure that you will join me in saying, may all Israel be saved.
Prophetically, we see the Feast of Tabernacles being our shelter in the Tabernacle of God under His wings – for the Jew first, and also for Gentile believers.
May each one of us be part of the pouring out as we share the love of Yeshua with others while we can, before the difficult days come and clamp down even more on our limited freedoms.
It is time for each one of us to walk out our faith, and not just be hearers but doers of the Word.

Hear the Word of the Lord – for Israel – people of Australia – and REPENT!
May the Voice of the Lord – through His Servant, Nel Farnik be heard and headed.
This is a time for each one of us to bow low to the Living and True Almighty God –
Hear the Heart of Abba Father – know the Promises in the Bible for His Beloved Chosen People; that Almighty God is Holy and keeps Covenant.
His Word is Eternal Truth. Jesus; Yeshua, is JEWISH. John 19.19 – “Now Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross. And the writing was JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
Matthew 15:24 “But He answered and said, ‘I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel”
Romans 1:16 – “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the JEW FIRST and also for the Greek (Gentile).
Have mercy on us, Lord Jesus: the people of Australia – for we have turned our backs on the Word of God – and turned our backs on Israel – believing the lie that the church replaced God the Father’s Beloved Chosen People, who sent His Beloved Son to us – believing a lie – that we Gentiles are the ‘church’ that Israel, Your Beloved Chosen People are ‘no more’.
Opening the door for Anti-Semitism and Jew hatred to flourish over centuries and to see its fruit in our streets, now, since October 8 2023 – unchecked by public protest or enforcement of laws against such hatred.
This is the root of Anti-Semitism latent and now fully out in the open – in Australia – some of the worst Jew hatred worldwide has happened here. Yes, some faithful voices, but clearly insufficient to stem this tide of Jew hatred- for that is what it is – being revealed in our Nation, whom we welcomed to our shores after the Holocaust and even before as Jewish people were on the First Fleet!
This Anti-Semitism clearly being permitted by our governments and law officials, without sufficient protest has opened the door for our elected government to stand for Australia in the UN – stand as an Anti-Christ spirit – against Israel; and agree on our behalf to divide the Promised Land; and divide Jerusalem. the city of the great King (Matthew 5.35). Polls suggest there is a general consensus amongst Australians with this stand. It is truly a time for the Body of Christ to repent and cry for mercy!
Listen to a generally ignored passage of Scripture:
Romans 11: 16 “For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness (richness) of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you…
… verses 21-22 ” For if God did not spare the natural branches, he may not spare you either. Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off…..
We cry Lord God Almighty – we repent and ask for forgiveness Lord – and we cry for Mercy to Almighty God for the parlous state of our Nation and our peoples, Amen, Amen

anti semitism started really from Rome under Herod when he ordered all Jewish baby boys to be killed after hearing of the birth of Jesus ,imo .
Rome was pagan and apparently in the Jewish Bible then it started that a Messiah would he born that would threaten Rome’s domination Well I read the supposed section and I couldn’t see how they interpreted it that way at all .
Anyway , about babies as commodities ,we all know Mary and Joe fled to Egypt to be safe from Rome and returned after about 9 years ,was it, but it’s unclear to me how they weren’t enslaved by pharoah then .It’s been years since I read it all ,maybe I’ve forgotten .Anyway after Rome defeated Cleopatra then slaves children naturally became the Pharoah ,now Caesars property .
That’s how commodyfying babies came into the law .I suspect .
And when Rome Western Rome ,fell then in effect the Pope replaced Caesar .Hence around 1300s once parents signed the birth cert then the bubs became Vatican property .There’s more to that history that’s been hidden About monies the Vatican then received for the care of their wards/ property /human resources ,but that’s another hidden story allegedly .
Anyway , nothing’s what it seems , Satan is the Great Deceiver ,father of all lies and the murderer ,as the Bible says .
God gives His commandments ,and then imo tests the children to see who listens and who doesn’t .
He tells us not to judge others and warns us that anyone who thinks they have the moral authority to judge specifically his people will receive the full extent of his fury .
But he also implies that of anyone as a mob judging anyone too .For only He knows what is in a man’s heart and Judgement belongs to Him .basically .
People do not listen .
They are too excitable and that’s created by a diet normalising the use of uppers ,coffee sugar etc and downers ,alcohol .Triggering nervous system disfunction aided by synthetic fabrics crating static electricity around the aura interfering with energy flow .
