26 January is a special day. In addition to being the day of my birth (thanks for the fireworks, Australia!), it’s a day we can all come together and celebrate what makes this country great, despite our imperfections as a nation.

As a dad now for (almost) 16 years, I’m continuously amazed at how much curiosity and creativity my daughters possess. One of our critical roles as dads is to foster and facilitate this curiosity and creativity as much as possible.

Dads4Kids continues to go from strength to strength, and we have some exciting things in store for 2024. Bookings for our next Courageous Online Fathering Course, which has been life-changing for so many dads, are open.

Dads, if you can, do your best to choose the positive for your kids. Lead them, in love, towards the Light. Seek out the better way, and hopefully, you might even discover some great music on the journey.

Opportunities to seek out adventure are only limited by your imagination and budget, but there are ways to escape inexpensively. An adventure together was exactly what the girls and I needed, and an educational road trip could be a good place to start.

Not all heroes wear capes. Mostly, they’re just everyday people. As we approach International Men’s Day on November 19, take some time to think about the heroes and positive male role models in your life.
