Hamas wants a ceasefire, but only on its terms. If Hamas laid down its arms, there would be no more war. If Israel laid down its arms, there would be no more Israel. If Israel withdraws, Hamas will redouble its efforts to destroy Israel. This will not bring peace to Israel.

I believe that despite the current conflict between Hamas and Israel, there is indeed hope for Gaza. The Scriptures give us hope for a remnant from Gaza that will one day live peacefully among Israelis.
