I’m sure that you will have heard of this acronym.

My friend Warwick Marsh shared another saying of similar ilk a while ago:

‘The main thing is the plain thing, and the plain thing is the main thing.’

So, in this bewildering age of everything normal being labelled by the left-leaning media and bureaucracy as ‘IST’ or ‘IC’, as in racist, misogynist, trans-phobic, etc., perhaps it’s time to simplify things.

If we get ourselves into a clear headspace, perhaps we can break things down to a manageable and honest summary of what really matters to most people — not just here in Australia, but across the world.

By comparison, however, we should also take a look at what matters most to the Governments and tyrants in charge of these countries.

China

The Ordinary People of Iran (with the exception of the ‘true believers’)

The Ordinary People of North Korea

• Food supply
• Medical care
• Hopelessness

The Governments of Every Dictatorship in the World

France, Germany, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, Europe in General…

• (Apart from a couple of truly brave leaders)
• These Governments continue to control the narrative and media. Again, dissent and protest are met with over-the-top responses. Why? The people are basically ignored.
• The United Kingdom has gone out of its way to stifle and hamper Brexit, voted on years ago now, but still, they usurp the wishes of the voters.
• Macron, a darling of the WEF is a prime example of a man willing to crush protests with an iron fist. This France our Australians fought and died for in two world wars!
• This is not a Brave New World, it’s a politically and morally corrupt system bringing us back to the ‘justice’ of overlords and serfdom of ancient and medieval times.
• The food supplies are being attacked in the Netherlands, and farmers severely punished for simply wanting to stay on their land and do what their ancestors have done for centuries.
• Germany has been brought asunder by Angela Merkle’s reign of open borders and mass uncontrolled migration. Their energy system is failing, and Germany is madly scrambling to re-open or build coal fired plants.
• These people wreak havoc upon the populace that have, in most instances been hoodwinked by the rhetoric of silver tongued liars and criminals.
• Think it was just Edi Amin, Pol Pot, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Pinochet, Ceausescu?
• There will come a time, if History re-calibrates, that we will see many present leaders of the western world be added to this list of monsters.

So, What Matters to You and Your Family?

‘If you’re not a left wing Liberal by the age of 25, you have no heart; if you’re not a conservative by the age of 50, you have no brain.’

I like this quote. Unfortunately, the demonisation of conservative values is unrelenting; they must be, as Goebbels’ ministry of truth lives re-invigorated and actively dispensed.

For me, a wife, mother and grandmother, my family and faith are key. To see my children and grandchildren live in the country I love without the threat of homelessness, war, starvation, communism, and totalitarian control of all things pertaining to freedom. To believe that they have a future that includes the ability to think for themselves, to achieve and work toward the goals and values they hold dear. To live here without the incessant brainwashing of wicked people with evil agendas. To have my babies hold to the truth that they are born male and female. That the colour of their skin, or anyone else’s doesn’t matter or define them.

Simple, really.

So, to sum up what matters to the majority of governments and tyrants in charge of this world, compared to the ordinary folk they govern:

THEM: Absolute control. US: Survival.

The main thing is, indeed, the plain thing.
