Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
With Christmas almost upon us, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very happy and blessed festive season.
Christmas is one of the times of the year when we can hear ‘Christ’ mentioned on radio and TV in a non-expletive way! Nativities are seen in front yards and shopping centres. In our highly secularised culture, we still have an increased opportunity to share about Jesus with those around us. And for that, we rejoice!
The birth of the Messiah was an astonishing intervention of God. Jesus has changed our world – like no one else in history – in the most dramatic and profound way.
We can only imagine how incredible it will be when he returns to Earth to rule what is rightfully His! Come, Lord Jesus (Revelation 22:20)!
Watch below as the Canberra Declaration team wishes you a very Merry Christmas! We have much to give thanks for what God has done in 2024!

As you can see, this is quite a list! We continue to be amazed at God’s provision as we continue standing for marriage, faith, family, freedom and life.
The Canberra Declaration’s mission to restore and revitalise Australia’s Judeo-Christian values remains as relevant and vital as ever before. We look forward to all that 2025 brings!
Thank you for your continued partnership, prayers and support. We are truly humbled by our incredible supporters. Together, we are making a positive difference!
The Hope of Christmas
The famous carol “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” was originally written by Charles Wesley. Penned in 1739, the lyrics continue to testify to the hope of Christmas to each generation.
The third verse proclaims:
Hail the Heaven-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Sun of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings,
Risen with healing in His wings.
Mild He lays His glory by
Born that man no more may die
Born to raise the sons of earth
Born to give them second birth
Hark! The herald angels sing
“Glory to the new-born king”
As Paul put it, “This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: ‘Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners'” (1 Timothy 1:15). Glory to the newborn King!
Yours for celebrating the saviour this Christmas,
Samuel & Leah Hartwich, Warwick & Alison Marsh, Kurt & Angie Mahlburg, Kym & Nel Farnik and Jean & Tasman Westbury

Thank you for a brilliant year! Yes there has been much pain for many but the hand of God has certainly been seen in the affairs of men.
The campaign to ban Christmas and Jesus from our lives has failed so far because people have become angry around the World.
