Lyle Shelton
Lyle Shelton is National Director of the Family First Party. He started his career as a rural journalist before being elected to the Toowoomba City Council. In 2007 he moved to Canberra to join the Australian Christian Lobby, becoming Managing Director in 2013. He was a director and spokesman for the Coalition for Marriage during the 2017 plebiscite campaign which saw the meaning of marriage change. Since 2018 he has worked in minor party politics, seeking to have candidates with Christian and family values elected to parliaments. Lyle is married to Wendy and they have four adult children and one grandchild.
