Modern ideologies are like spells, entrancing the masses with their half-baked versions of reality. We must educate ourselves and hold fast to the Word of God in order to guard against these rampant lies.

Sometimes it’s like everything old is new again; a re-vamp, re-imagined, updated newer version. Every electronic device, yesterday’s state-of-the-art becomes tomorrow’s plaything for a bored child.

So, let’s go for the upgrade! It’s loud, proud and in our faces, if we have the eyes to see and ears to hear.

The old original “Book of Spells” came on the world stage with a description sure to tantalise every budding witch or occult-interested consumer:

“Complete with other 50 spells and information on the magical tools and traditions of witchcraft, the book of spells is the ultimate guide to healing, menaced manifesting your desires, and diving confidently into the mysteries of magic.”

Calling upon ancient powers and the ways of the witch, everything old is new again. (Do you remember a time when most of us would have thought this abhorrent?)

Tangled Web

So, the new upgraded edition of the Book of Spells comes in completely different packaging, designed for a very specific market and promoted by “trusted sources”.

They release a volume at a time or often several at once. You won’t find it on a bookshelf in Angus and Robertson; instead, it will be spread across the airwaves and media in a new attempt to bewitch and beguile the susceptible without them even knowing it.

Chapters in the new Book of Spells include:

1. COVID-19: the how-to guide of Pharmacia’s ability to lie and destroy in the name of science.
2. Climate change: the new religion of fear over faith, disaster over hope, and how to scare the children out of their wits.
3. Race-baiting and “social justice“: how to divide and conquer by instilling virtuous hatred.
4. Transgender and LGBTQ: you too can be transformed irreparably by drugs, surgery and self-hate.  Child sexual abuse: how to convince the world that deviant sexual practices are normal and acceptable in this new age of enlightenment.
5. Abortion and euthanasia: viable, rightful choices to kill a baby, or a human of any age, and instil virtue in the populace by standing in the spirit of Molech.
6. Assault on conservative and Christian beliefs: a prime opportunity to stamp out these life-affirming pests by labelling them ‘haters’.
7. Indoctrination of children in the school system: get them young and have them for life!
8. Creating woke churches: release the enemy within to overhaul and propagate a new gospel to deceive the people of God.
9. The rise of Satanism and the occult: a viable alternative to that pesky Jesus.

Of course, it would be remiss of me to not include the lynchpin chapter,

• The Great Reset: everything will never be enough for us!

Every chapter is written by the woke anti-Christ spirit of the age. And it has BEWITCHED many!

Taking advantage of people’s goodwill and intentions is paramount in promoting these volumes.

Standing for God and Life

How could this be happening? Most people love and care for their family, or at the very least, have a survival instinct. The new ‘Magicians’ know this, and have taken advantage of us. I am including an interview with Sean Feucht here:

Speaking with Tucker Carlson, Sean speaks of the vitriol he has been subjected to after he stood against the mandates and lockdowns imposed upon us all, and specifically the Church. It’s eye-opening!

At one stage, he recounts walking to a rally /worship meeting on San Francisco’s Golden Gate bridge. He was stopped and challenged by a police officer, who asked Sean what was going on. Sean replied that they were holding an outdoor worship meeting.

To this statement, the officer replied, “Well, it’s about time! Where has the Church been?” Sean asked the officer what he and his men were doing there. His reply was chilling: “We’re trying to stop people from jumping.” They couldn’t keep on top of the massive suicide explosion.

It’s not just COVID-19 that has seen us ‘missing in action’, but on every chapter listed above.

Sean’s celebration of the overturning of Roe v. Wade was derided by many Christian leaders. Because he stood firmly on the sanctity of life! He has lost many friends, but now has been blessed with many more new ones, as have we.

If Not, Why Not?

Okay, so you’ve read/scanned this article, and you understand the implications of silence by the church. But if you don’t, why don’t you?

If all we have to offer is the same stance on these issues as the world, we have nothing to offer them. If Jesus being preached as the Way, the Truth and the Life is offensive to them, do you for one second think they applaud our standing with them?

If quoting the Word of God, the Scriptures by which we find salvation, forgiveness and freedom, is frowned upon and diluted to be of no effect, can we hope to ‘find’ ourselves in the new ‘book of spells’?

I love something Sean Feutch said on Joni Lamb’s Table Talk on Daystar TV recently. Suzi Lamb asked about the difference in being loving to those who are living a certain way, compared to offensive. Jesus spoke plainly in love, but many were offended. This is especially relevant for millennials and Gen Z, who are told in churches we shouldn’t be involved with culture wars, because we don’t want to offend people. Is being bold and outspoken for what the Word of God says being unloving?

“My question would be, are we going to let the world disciple us? Or are we going to let the Word disciple us? If we don’t speak on these cultural issues, we are allowing the world to disciple a generation… or mainstream media trying to dictate what love looks like, what marriage looks like, what correct sexuality looks like, all these kind of things, and when pastors and leaders are afraid to speak and define it, people are left to be discipled by an anti-Christ culture.”

He quotes Billy Graham: “When a courageous man takes a stand, the spines of others are stiffened.”

Knowledge is Power

On climate change, I would suggest you listen to Professor Ian Plimer’s interview with John Roskam of the IPA. Believe me, or rather Dr Plimer, when I say our resident cast members of the Muppets, Chris Bowen and Pat Conroy, don’t have a clue what they’re talking about; they are selling our inheritance for a bowl of hot air.

What About the Word of God?

This is the Book we look to, or should. Jesus talked about the rise of deception in the last days. Are we still willing to hear what He said, or are we bewitched by the world? The choice is ours.

Matthew 24:

“Tell us, when will these things happen? And what sign should we expect to signal Your coming and the end of this age?”

 Jesus answered, “At that time, DECEPTION will run rampant. So, beware that you are not fooled! For many will appear on the scene claiming My authority or saying about themselves, ‘I am the anointed one’, and they will lead many astray.

You will hear of wars and revolutions on every side, with rumours of more wars to come.Don’t panic or give into your fears, for the breaking apart of the world’s systems is destined to happen. But it won’t yet be the end; it will still be unfolding. Nations will go to war against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms. And there will be terrible earthquakes, horrible epidemics, and famines in place after place. This is how the birth pains of the new age will begin!

You can expect to be persecuted, even killed; for you will be hated by all the nations because of your love for Me. Then many will stop following Me and fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another. And many lying prophets will arise, deceiving multitudes and leading them away from the path of truth. There will be such an increase of the sin of lawlessness and those whose hearts that once burned with passion for God and others will grow cold.

But hold your hope firmly to the end and you will experience life and deliverance. Yet through it all, the good news of heaven’s kingdom will be proclaimed all over the world, providing every nation with a demonstration of the reality of God. After that, the end of this age will arrive.”

Add a dose of the Apostle Paul — 1 Timothy 4:1-2 ~

The Holy Spirit has explicitly revealed: At the end of this age, many will depart from the true faith one after another, devoting themselves to spirits of deception and following demon-inspired revelations and theories.

Hypocritical liars will deceive many, and their consciences won’t bother them at all!

I love it when the Holy Spirit gives a confirmation.

Last week, we didn’t make it to church. However, yesterday I began to watch the recorded sermon by my Pastor Colin Grigg. His theme: The Rise of Deception. So many preachers who are listening have the same message — it’s loud and clear!

The watchmen are shouting from the walls! Do you hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to the churches?
